Developer Notes:

Starting with 0.7 you guys will get persistent savegames. You probably know this from other ports already ( especially the ones made by the66 ). What this means is that when I release 0.8 you don't have to manually back up your savegames anymore. You can delete 0.7, update to 0.8 and get to keep all your savegames. This means that the app needs rights to write on your external storage ( you will get a prompt when the game launches ).

The old savegame location is /Android/data/my.n.family/files/saves/. The new location will be /Android/data/RenPy/MyNewFamily-somenumbers. So make sure to copy your current savegames into this folder once you updated to 0.7!

1- Extract to desired location.
2- Click on “My New Family APK Download .exe” to start playing.

IMPORTANT: You will most likely get an error when you load your savegame. Click on “Rollback” a few times until you see an image again. This should fix it. Alternatively, you can load a savegame from 0.16 if you still have one.
IMPORTANT: In order to play 0.15 (chapter 10+) you have to have finished 0.14 (chapter 1-9) and use the savegame you’re prompted to create at the end. More info here

CONTENT CHANGE:

PATCH INSTRUCTIONS:

Windows/PC: Copy lovetime.rpyc into your "game" folder.

Android users: Navigate to Android/data/my.n.family/files, create a new folder named "game" and copy the lovetime.rpyc in this folder.

Mac: Right click your MyNewFamily app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Move lovetime.rpyc into your "Contents/Resources/autorun/game" folder

Note: This patch will work for all future versions as well. Just copy the file for each new game version. It will always stay the same file.
